Since 2014, this intense 3-week course is taught by some of the greatest maestros in the world and gives young, diverse conductors unparalleled access to symphony orchestras and masterclasses that would otherwise be out of their reach.

The 2018 edition joined 12 conductors from 10 countries to learn from the renowned Jaap van Zweden. Diversity, Leadership and Community are the themes of this one-of-a-kind academy, highlighting diverse backgrounds of our conductors, and more specifically, female conductors. This year, the prestigious Neeme Järvi Prize for excellence went to Andrew Joon Choi.
