The Mécènes Forum 2018 was a resounding success! This year, Admical and the Collège de France welcomed almost 500 participants for roundtable discussions and workshops on European Philanthropy’s present and future.

Numerous speakers from some of the biggest actors in philanthropy and related areas took the stage, including the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations, EVPA (the European Venture Philanthropy Association), the Fondation Sonofi Espoir, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and even the European Commission.

The different subject areas discussed in the world of philanthropy included disruptive philanthropy, the surprising ways that risk-taking can bring about unforeseen results, how to grow European models in philanthropy, political questions and opportunities across Europe, women empowerment and more.

Admical is a network of members and key organisations composed mostly of companies and foundations engaged in philanthropic actions as well as charities. It was created in 1979 with a mission to promote corporate philanthropy in France by working on a legal framework which would favor and secure giving outside business operations.

The Mécènes Forum 2018 is the third annual occasion at the Collège de France.
