May 14, 2018 - the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations, along with the Orange Foundation, won the award 'A Project, A Patron' in the "Living Spectacle" category for their work on Orpheus XXI. The award was presented by the Minister of Culture and Communication, Françoise Nyssen, in the presence of Jordi Savall, one of the founders of this project.

"ORPHEUS XXI, music for life and dignity" is an educational artistic action project to integrate talented young musician refugees in Europe.

This ambitious project initiated by Jordi Savall (among other institutional bodies) makes music and intercultural dialogue a response to the consequences of growing conflict and the migrations they cause. This project trains musicians and singers, themselves refugees, from all nationalities. The most talented are selected to be trained in the arts and participate in a series of concerts in schools, refugee communities and musical institutions in Europe.

In 2017, this award "Living Spectacle" was awared to the Hermès Foundation for their work in their project "Camping."
