Edmond de Rothschild’s foundation appoint new CEO

Karin Jestin serves as CEO of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations. She has 25 years of experience in the social economy, where she has held board and management positions in non-profit organizations and donor foundations.

After starting her career as a strategy and organization consultant with McKinsey & Company, and then leading a collective art project, Karin Jestin joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Geneva. She then became a director at Foundation Strategy Group (FSG), where she led consulting projects on philanthropy and corporate social responsibility.

In 2008, she took charge of the Lombard Odier Foundation, and developed the philanthropy consultancy of the eponymous bank, which she managed until 2015. She then pursued this activity as an independent consultant, accompanying patrons and foundations in the realization of their philanthropic ambitions, combining the rigor of strategic consulting with a passion for the common good.

Quadrilingual and a graduate of HEC, Karin is a lecturer at the University of Geneva on the subject of donor foundation strategies.
She will join the Edmond de Rothschild ecosystem at the end of 2022.
