Firoz LADAKFiroz LADAK

Since 2005, Firoz Ladak has led the strategy, international development, and financial management of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations. He spearheaded the transition from a longstanding tradition of charity to venture philanthropy driven by impact. Collaborating closely with the Rothschild family, he has helped to transform their legacy into a formidable force for change. He has managed more than 100 programs across the arts, entrepreneurship, health, and education through a network of 10 foundations that improve the lives of thousands of beneficiaries in Europe, the United States, West Africa, South Asia, and Israel.
 
Firoz draws from his solid investment banking experience at BNP Paribas and Société Générale in mergers & acquisitions, project finance, and the setup of public-private partnerships, particularly in emerging markets. He is steering the move of capital portfolios towards sustainable investment driven by social, environmental, and governance guidelines (ESG). In 2013, Firoz founded ERFIP, a unique circle of families from Frontier Markets that harnesses knowledge and collaboration to catalyze social and economic development. Firoz is also advising wealth management at Edmond de Rothschild group on the development of philanthropic strategies for clients.
 
He currently sits on the board of various foundations, including the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations network; Hôpital Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild, a university hospital specializing in ophthalmology and neuroscience in Paris; Admical, France’s leading think tank for corporate philanthropy; and Carnegie Hall in New York. His work and viewpoints have featured in the French and international press, such as Le Monde, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, and El Pais. Firoz holds a BA in economics/political science from McGill University and completed an MPhil in Oriental Studies from the University of Oxford as an Aga Khan Foundation Scholar. He is a French and Canadian citizen and resides in Geneva with his wife and daughter.

Firoz is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Oxford, where he completed an M. Phil in Oriental Studies as an Aga Khan Foundation Scholar. He is a Canadian and French citizen and resides in Geneva, Switzerland.

Carole MBAZOMOCarole MBAZOMO

Carole has in-depth experience on diverse issues as the Arts Director of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations where she is co-developing, leading and driving cutting-edge programs that foster inclusion in the arts sector in Africa, America and Europe. She's also the General Secretary of the African Business Club and an Aspen Institute European Young Leader.

She has obtained Master’s degrees in Business Engineering and International Business Management with honors from Coventry University and French business schools. In her free time, Carole has been involved in different intercultural projects such as Conscious Action Network in Sri Lanka, Godiva Awakes in the UK and has been a 2017 laureate of « Lire à Douala » - an open casting-call for writings.

Angelo KONIANAngelo KONIAN

Angelo rejoint les Fondations Edmond de Rothschild en 2016 en tant que responsable du pôle Entrepreneuriat et du pôle Santé.
 
Diplômé d’un Master en management de Neoma Business School, il débute sa carrière en Consulting chez Accenture France. En Europe et en Afrique, il intervient sur de grands programmes de transformation dans le secteur de la distribution d’eau et d’énergie, mais également dans le secteur humanitaire.
 
Il décide par la suite de consacrer sa carrière au développement de projets à impact où il peut mettre à profit son expérience développée en matière de gestion de projets à l’international. Au sein des Fondations il se passionne pour la co-création de projets et leur passage à l’échelle, le tout dans une approche multi-acteurs. En effet c’est en faisant collaborer grandes entreprises, startups, académiques, et le secteur publique que nous pourrons atteindre les changements systémiques que nous appelons de nos vœux.

Rachida EL HAWZALIRachida EL HAWZALI

Depuis 2017, Rachida est Program Manager Entrepreneurship & Health au sein des Fondations Edmond de Rothschild.

Rachida est diplômée d'un Master en lettres modernes appliquées de La Sorbonne Paris IV et d'un Master in Management de l'ESSEC Business School où elle se spécialise dans les domaines de la philanthropie et de l'entrepreneuriat social.

Passionnée par l'innovation sociale, elle multiplie les expériences à Paris, San Francisco, Abidjan et Tunis aux côtés de fondations et d'entrepreneurs qui s'engagent pour la résolution d'enjeux sociaux et environnementaux. 

Honorine LANTELMEHonorine LANTELME

Honorine est Program Manager - Arts. Elle est diplômée d'un master d'esthétique de La Sorbonne - Paris IV et d'un Mastère en gestion des biens culturels d'ESCP Europe. Forte de multiples expériences dans le fundraising auprès de fondations et d'institutions, elle rejoint les Fondations Edmond de Rothschild en 2018 en tant que Program Manager et conçoit des projets qui répondent aux enjeux spécifiques de ces structures en matière de financement et de diffusion des bonnes pratiques.
