Arts

Unveil, Unite, Disrupt

Since the 19th century, the Rothschild family has stood out for its visionary approach to cultural patronage by supporting illustrious artists of the time, such as Ingres, Berlioz and Chopin. Notably through the exceptional composition of manuscripts and historical prints, bequeathed to the Louvre Museum in 1935 by the heirs of Baron Edmond James de Rothschild.

150 years later, the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations passionately continue the tradition of artistic sponsorship while simultaneously tackling the issues of the 21st century by resolutely engaging in social commitment. Their drive? Channeling artistic excellence into efforts promoting the social, cultural, and personal inclusion of different communities.
